Why We Started

When Emma lost a close friend at just 30 years old, she found herself trying to plan a funeral that simply didn’t feel right. Everything was too structured, too impersonal, and didn’t reflect the vibrant, joyful person her friend was. That experience sparked a realisation — the funeral industry hadn’t evolved to meet the needs of today’s families.Together with experienced celebrant Danielle, Meaningful Memorials was created to offer an alternative. One that feels more human, more flexible, and more personal — right here on the Mornington Peninsula.
